sedak tempered+ – when optical quality matters
Heat-treated glass can show visible anisotropies under certain lighting and viewing conditions. sedak tempered+ takes a different approach. The patented tempering process significantly reduces these optical effects while maintaining the structural properties of heat-treated safety glass. In New York, visitors can experience the optical quality of sedak tempered+ directly at the exhibit.
sedak multicurved – when glass follows the geometry
Complex architecture requires glass that goes beyond conventional cylindrical bending. sedak multicurved enables multi-axial and freeform 3D geometries in tempered glass. The form-free bending process creates new possibilities for complex façades and building envelopes without requiring an individual bending mould for every geometry. The exhibit in New York provides a tangible impression of the design freedom offered by complex, three-dimensionally curved glass.
BR7 NS – when maximum security needs to remain transparent
The third exhibit addresses a very different challenge: How can a high level of ballistic protection be integrated into transparent architecture? sedak develops polycarbonate-free bullet-resistant glass solutions up to BR7 NS according to DIN EN 1063, combining certified ballistic protection with high optical quality and architectural design freedom. The BR7 NS exhibit demonstrates how demanding security requirements can become an integral part of the building envelope without visually dominating the architecture.
