As protection against attacks using weapons sedak offers safety and insulating glass panes in the bullet resistance classes BR2 NS to BR7 NS (according to DIN EN 1063), so up to the highest level of protection.
Safety glass
The monolithic safety glass sedak secuprotect is certified for its symmetrical design and offers protection from both sides. It makes particular sense, for example, where numbers of people stream past each other and it is difficult to predict in advance the position from which an act of violence will start (passenger movements in airports etc.)
Insulating glass
The insulating glass sedak isosecure convinces with its clever pane structure. Without the use of the conventional polycarbonate system, the fire load is also reduced compared to the conventional solution. Another advantage: it can be combined with conventional solar control and low-e coatings, thus meeting the requirements of modern energy standards. It is also certified for float and heat-strengthened glass.
The comprehensive overall functionality of the insulating glass was convincing: sedak isosecure received the “Special Mention” award at the renowned Architizer A+Award and an “Honorable Mention” from the Architect’s Newspaper.
