On March 3, 2026, from 2:05–2:10 pm, Derek Losee will present a Take 5 session titled:
“New Capabilities of Multi-Curved Glass”
The session explores a question long considered impossible in architectural glass:
Can glass be both complexly curved and heat-strengthened or fully tempered?
The answer is yes.
Derek will introduce sedak’s groundbreaking multi-curved, tempering-furnace-based technology, which enables complex three-dimensional glass geometries while meeting the requirements for heat-strengthened and fully tempered safety glass. With new possibilities in lengths of up to 8,5 meters, this innovation pushes the boundaries of façade design and opens entirely new architectural applications. In addition, sedak will present a multi-curved glass panel in the networking area.
