GPD 2025: Can tempered glass curve like this?

June 10 - 12, 2025 | Nokia Arena | Tampere, Finland

Can glass be both, complexly curved and heat strengthened or fully tempered? Yes - and you´ll have the chance to see more about it live at the GPD 2025.

sedak presents a world-first innovation: sedak multicurved, a groundbreaking, tempering furnace-based technology that opens new design possibilities in architectural glass.

a world innovation at booth e2

Under this year’s theme, “GLASS – THE IN/VISIBLE IMPACT,” Glass Performance Days once again gathers the global glass community to showcase the technologies shaping tomorrow’s buildings. At booth E2, sedak reveals a bending revolution: custom-shaped, 3D-bent heat-strengthened or fully-toughened glass—free from the limitations of traditional mold-based processes.

With no molds required, sedak’s innovative furnace-controlled shaping allows for multicurved, cylindrical, and even spherical geometries—pushing the boundaries of façade design.

“We’re entering the next generation of glass bending—custom geometries with no molds,” says Kevin Berni, Sales Director at sedak. “We’ve eliminated the tooling constraints, enabling faster turnaround times, greater design freedom, and scalable production of even the most complex shapes.”

sedak multicurved - a game changer

On Wednesday, June 11 at 4 PM on the GPD stage, Joan Tarrús will present "Game Changer in Architecture – Multicurved Tempered Glass," reviewing conventional bending methods and demonstrating how sedak’s new technology overcomes their limitations.
