sedak at bau 2019 – review

extreme supporting structures attract trade specialists

Extreme and unusual glass constructions resulting from technical advances: at BAU 2019, sedak showed what the transparent material is capable of. The eye catcher was a 10 meter long glass seesaw, a production in cooperation with Eckersley O’Callaghan, which was in use throughout all six days of the fair trade and thus had passed the stress test with bravado.

Behind the seesaw, attached to only two mounts, a 20 meter long glass fin, which attracted the publics by virtue of its weight of 1.6 tons and its extreme ratio.

The two new products sedak isopure and sedak clear-edge demonstrate perfection in detail. Sedak isopure is an insulating glass with a glass spacer, which optically dissolves the usual black joints. Besides the high quality standards in processing and appearance, the glass spacer also fulfills the contemporary Ug-values. sedak isopure is filled with argon gas and can be combined with all common coatings.

sedak clear-edge also excels in functionality and aesthetics. The new glass-edge protection protects open lamination edges of glass balustrades and constructive glass components from weathering.

With 2.250 exhibitors in 19 halls, BAU 2019 was the biggest BAU of all time. That is the reason why we would especially like to thank our visitors who made their way to us, for your interest in sedak and for a successful trade fair.
