sedak partnering DETAIL conference “Transformation – Changing Architecture”

16th November 2017 in Frankfurt on the Main

How do existing buildings react to changing usage requirements? How are urban and landscape planning developing - global urban culture vs. comeback of the villages? These and other questions regarding contemporary architecture will be put up for discussion at the DETAIL conference "Transformation - Architektur im Wandel" (engl. "Transformation - Changing Architecture") on 16th November 2017 in Frankfurt on the Main.

Being a partner of the event, sedak presents - in line with the motto - its new product sedak isomax®. With the vacuum insulation panel in the cavity, the double and triple IGU turns into a marvelous space saver with exceptional insulation. Where walls are usually used to achieve high insulation, the IGU product line creates new space thanks to its slim design and reaches insulation values up to 0.23 W/m²K. sedak not only fabricates the glass in 3.2m x 16.5m ,the dimensions characteristic for the glass manufacturer, but also enables architects to freely design the building envelope. The ceramic-ink digital printer reaches an extremely high brilliance due to a resolution of 1024 dpi - even with photorealistic pictures.

About the event: The conference is a platform that offers an open dialog on social transformation, architecture and urban construction, and the role of the individual. The event, organized by the renowned magazine DETAIL, raises topical questions and discusses different strategies and approaches. Pioneering concepts and solutions show a critical reflection of the topic "transformation". Hypothetical, alternative concepts are examined.
